Claire Kail is a multidisciplinary artist and designer. Spanning weaving, jewellery, visual art and writing, her practice is rooted in the notion of memory ~ exploring how objects carry personal and collective narratives.

Guided by a deep sensitivity to the ephemeral, her work unfolds as an ongoing process of collecting and translating: a quiet resistance against erasure, a way of devoting time and attention to what remains unseen, unheard, or on the verge of disapearing.

Claire is based between Paris and Haute-Marne. She holds a Master's in Creation and Technologies from ENSCI–Les Ateliers and a Master's in Creative Cultures from CELSA Sorbonne Université. Since 2022, she has researched the symbolic dimensions of craft through essays published in magazines including Tools Magazine. Alongside her artistic practice, she founded Aelta Studio, an independent creative studio based in Paris.
